Last week, the pupils of Valley Primary Academy were thrilled to receive a brand-new football kit to use as they start-up a new team, courtesy of three very generous supporters.

Norfolk Football Kits and Teamwear (www.norfolkfootball.co.uk) kindly supplied the shirts and shorts in the Valley red and orange, as well as full goalie kits.

East Anglian Forklifts Ltd (www.eastanglianforklifts.co.uk) generously provided the coats for keeping warm pitchside, plus vests for training.

In addition, the Henderson Trust (www.henderson-norwich.org) contributed to our team, providing sports bottles and shin pads the previous week.

When presenting the kit to the team, Paul Suggitt from Norfolk Football Kits and Teamwear said, “It is a pleasure to give something to back to our local community – to support a whole team of young people as they start their own football journey!”

Mr Dawson, Year 5 teacher and Mr Loveday, Pastoral Lead, were on hand with their team to celebrate the new kit arrival. “It is so exciting to see our team wearing their new kit – they look great!” commented Mr Loveday. “I hope this will inspire a new love of football and activity for them all. Thank you Michael and your team for supporting in creating fantastic new life-chances for our pupils!”

Mrs Bush, Head of Valley Primary Academy, shared her appreciation too: “I am so thankful for all organisations and charities who support our school and pupils. Kind acts such as this, not only make a huge difference to our pupils, but also instils within them a sense of social responsibility too.”

The academy would like to say a big thank you to all supporters of our football team, including Paul Suggitt (Managing Director of Norfolk Football Kits and Teamwear), Grahame Crowe (Managing Director of East Anglian East Anglian Forklifts Ltd) and Kelly Ward (Support Manager from the Henderson Trust).
