Post Vacancy: ICT Technician
Location: The HEART Education Trust (Norwich)
Salary: £17,433.39 – £18,146.03 pro rata (£19,563.37 – £20,353.73 FTE)
Job Type: Permanent; full-time 37.5 hours per week (flexible working arrangements possible, but visits to school sites will be required as and when needed). Term time (38 weeks) plus 3 additional weeks
Start Date: 1 December 2021
This is an exciting opportunity for a full time ICT Technician to work with a dynamic and growing company. You will have at least one years’ experience within an IT support role. You will support all aspects of ICT technical support across the Trust, including working with staff and pupils as required and ensure adequate IT provision and a high level of service is provided across all Trust academies. You will work under the direction of the Trust ICT Manager to support the effective operation and security of the Trust’s ICT network and infrastructure and help implement the Trust’s ICT strategy and service provision.

You will have:
- Minimum of Grade C in English and Maths GCSEs
- Proven background working within an IT support role (minimum one year)
- Excellent IT, organisational and communication skills, and work well under pressure
- Experience with G-Suite, Chromebooks and iPads
- A good knowledge of end user hardware and software applications
- Excellent standard of client service, problem solving skills and be a proactive team player
- Self-motivation and be able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team
The Trust is based in Norwich, with limited hot desking facilities available at Henderson Green Primary Academy (NR5). Our business support units currently work from home, but as a Trust based role the post holder will be required to move between Trust sites as and when needed.
